Make films from rides you've already recorded.

Record a ride on your phone or import one from a bike computer or watch, add photos and videos from your library, and make a film in Rideo. Rideo doesn't connect to any hardware or use Bluetooth yet.

What Rideo uses today
Recording a ride
Your phone's location records the track and keeps going with the screen locked.Permissions: location, notifications, motion activity (for auto-pause)
Adding video
Import your camera footage into the phone's photo library first. Rideo reads the photos and videos from the time of your ride, lines them up with the track by capture time, and saves the finished video back to the library.Permissions: photos and videos
Importing rides
Import FIT or GPX files from a bike computer or watch, or read cycling workouts from Apple Health or Health Connect. Rideo only reads health data and never writes or changes it.Permissions: health data (read only)
Network
Loads maps and syncs with the cloud.Permissions: network access
Planned connections (in testing)

The connections below are planned and not available yet. When they ship, Rideo will ask for Bluetooth permission and this section will be updated.

Tail01 Max pairing
Bluetooth, with tap-to-pair over NFC. Google Fast Pair is planned for Android phones.Status: in testing, certification pending
Finding Tail01 Max
Planned to join the Google Find Hub network and Apple Find My. Each light joins one of the two, chosen at first setup, and can choose again after a factory reset.Status: Google side in testing, certification pending; Apple side planned
Tail01 Max rest stops
After you park mid-ride, the light switches off and Rideo pauses location to save battery. Set off again from the same spot within 4 hours and the ride carries on along the same track.Status: in testing
SIGHT 01 footage transfer
Planned to send footage to the phone over Wi-Fi, with Bluetooth for connecting and syncing the clock.Status: in testing
